Ugly Rompers

This post in the rompers series is about ugly rompers. Yes there is definite such a thing as ugly rompers. The two rompers pictured here are what I call ugly rompers because they are oh so ... long and formless ... almost makes you wonder if it's a dress, or a bag of some sorts. The one on the left would be great if you were to impersonate Mortitia, and the one on the right is befitting of a ghost princess costume. Sad but true, ugly rompers do exist.

Rompers in Contrast

I love rompers, cute rompers. These two rompers here are very much representative of what I'd wear. The first one is simple and understated, and the latter, graphically appetizing. Although, I suppose it would help to dye my hair red before trying to pull the second romper look off. Not sure if green and turquoise is my best color, but the geometric prints are fantastic regardless. DVF has done it again. She defined the wrap dress, and now I think she's on her way to becoming the romper queen as well. I can't wait till summer, the ultimate romper season of course. This girl is planning to wear rompers seven days a week.

Plaid Rompers

Plaid Rompers are not exactly in, because out of the hundreds of rompers I found this season, only three are plaid colored. But they're cute nevertheless. I think they'll go great with converses and a baseball cap for that boyish look. Tie your hair up in to pig tails and you'll be carded everywhere you go.

Floral Rompers

While I'm at it, here are a few floral romper picks. Anything with prints these days will cost more than their solid colored counterparts. Same goes for rompers. These lady-like rompers will cost you a few hundred bucks a pop. Whether it's worth it, depends on your taste and the size of your bank account of course :) I personally will simply choose to admire their cuteness while they're hanging on the racks. They're a bit too girly for my liking ... and for my wallet's liking as well ;)

Time for an update 2012 Cute Rompers

Let's take a look at what's new this year. Last year's romper styles were cute, but I think this year's rompers are even better. Namely the lace romper seems to be in. Take a look at this Termperley pink lace romper. Isn't it adorable? Who can resist the femininity this romper brings out? IMHO, this is the number one romper of this year. Just look around. Don't believe what those gofugyourself girls say about rompers being out of the style. The modern cute rompers are hotter than ever. If you don't want to look too retro, just stay away from the bell bottoms and the leopard prints. But don't worry there are so many cute romper styles and cuts to choose from, in fact I think this is the IN item of the season. It's the season of cute rompers everywhere. You simply must see for yourself.

Getting the cabin fevers? Here are a few chic but inexpensive romper picks to stave off those winter blues. I hope you look forward to the summer, because the coming summer will be a summer of Rompers ... for me personally at least. I'll get three months to get rid of the baby weight and it's gonna be all rompers. Yah!
