Some decade and a half ago, I had a dream of working in the fashion industry when I grow up. Some decade and a half later, the dream did not come true due to life circumstances, parental mis-guidance, personal practicality, etc. So I resort to the latest Internet blogging graze to rekindder my inner fashionista.

DVF vs Catherine Malandrino?
Who knows the woman's curve better? I think it's definitely DVF. Catherine Malandrino always seems to be trying to hard, and comes off awkward looking, but DVF on the other hand is effortless, and always flatters your silhouette. The black Manlandrino dress for example cuts off at this awkward length. The shape of the skirt is neither here nor there. It's too long to be sexy and too short to be flattering. Nor does it bubble out or taper in enough. It gives me this overall blah feeling, whereas the DVF dress on the right is simple, elegant and perfectly cut to flatter your body. The geometric print is eye pleasing. You simply can not go wrong with this dress.
