Crop Jackets
Crop jackets are very cute, but the cut has to be right for it to look right. I like this particular one for its more modern flair. The two horizontal side pockets are really unique. Sometimes cropped jackets tend to look a bit too retro with the big buttons, and round collars. This one is a fashion forward buy.
Can you tell I love long dresses?
This one is a keeper because of its unusual capped sleeves. Straps are nice in the summer, but I prefer short sleeves on my dresses to keep the cold AC air at bay.More day-dresses
Fun ruffle bikini top
This is a lot of fun. It's as sexy as it is modest. The soft coral color makes it soothing on the eyes. Wear this with a more intense coral colored cover up on the bottom.

Go Red
Everything I'm featuring today has red in it because it's the IN color of the season. I think we're really lucky this year with getting this beautiful color. You just can't go wrong with red no matter what your skin color is. And it goes great with white and orange, like in this dress. When in doubt go RED :)

Eyelet tube tops
These are great for the summer. They breath and are easy to wear. Gotta love tube tops in your wardrobe. I'd keep wearing them through my 30s if I can keep staying in shape. Pair them with some skinny jeans or a short jean skirt and you're ready to go to the beach. It's a simple weekend look that would never become outdated.
Kimono-esk
Wearing Kimono spin-offs is a great way to add some Asian flair to your wardrobe, especially for the big-boned western girls who want to feel demure once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big-boned Asian girl, and I would love to look demure sometimes so I can blend in with the rest of my peeps. So whenever I want to do that, I wear my Kimono-esk dresses.

Shop Shopbop on FashionDibs
Okay, so Shopbop is one of those online stores that I've eyed for a while but never made a purchase. And even though I was blasse about the clothes, I had much to comment about their models ... don't they look kind of skinny and sickly? And they're so awkward and miserable looking. What's going on? I said it a few years ago and will say it again, their models don't flatter the clothes they're trying to sell. But if you can look past all that, the clothes are still fab. So take a look.

Easy way to search for fashion on Ebay
Staying true to my geeky side, I wrote this little gadget that can go on your google home page. It let's you search ebay and many other classified listings all in just one little rectangular area. Take a look. The fact that I don't have to open a million windows to browse through different sites is pretty neat. You can add it to your Google home page by following this link. Another great way to shop for fashion.

Purple
I dig the Purple collection from Arden B better than their Red collection from a while ago. Maybe I'm just a purple gal, but the pieces look less trashy ... I suppose you can't go too wrong with the color of the royalty.
