I like this lamp and the console together. They might be all you need for a cute and understated entrance way. Not fuss. Just simple and utilitarian chic.

Can gold and silver tones mix?

Entrance Way - Contrasting porportions

Is this a better attempt? There's more contrast in the proportions of things. There's a greater visual interest in the design ... less blah than the last I must say. Just as in fashion, proportions are equally important in home design. I know, I know this is still pretty pathetic, but eat least I'm thinking and learning. Okay okay they both suck.

Entrance Way

Well wish I was more gifted in piecing together a great entrance way but I'm not. This is A attempt, definitely not my best attempt. As you can see I'm trying something here, not quite sure what it is ... I've seen asymmetry in a lot of great entrance way designs so you can see some of that here. I picked the vase out of my fancy simply because I liked the way it looked without regards for its color scheme and I guess it doesn't really go. This is usually what happens when I buy things. I buy the thing because I like it without considering whether it'll go with anything else. But hey at least the realization of a failure of a design here cost me only the electricity that went through my laptop while I dragged the images around. Blah ... I don't like this entrance way.

More modern accents

Can you tell I love red and beige motif? I love prints and solids mixed together. The prints give the room texture and the solids give focal points.

Stylish Home Accents

So I'm into Home accents now. The book shelf of this kind is not only practical but also visually interesting. It's almost DIYable if you had a handy hubby. Interesting wall hangings can also make your walls standout. Picking the one with the right accent colors is the key, and if you can pull all the colors in the room together with an quality rug it's all the better.

Colorblock dresses

Colorblock dresses are awesome. They're not too feminine, but still maintain an edgy chic. I love wearing colorblock dresses at the office because they usually downplay girliness ... I don't want to be too girly ever at the office because I don't want to be not taken seriously. The fear's probably unfounded, but you could never be too careful when the way you present yourself is tied to your paycheck. But the fun side of me hate wearing dresses that are made of just a solid color. Prints are too busy on the eyes, so the best compromise in my opinion are color block dresses. Which isn't such a compromise because they look fantastics. Every girl need a couple of cute color block dresses in their closet don't you think?

I don't care what y'all think, but I love tights with some design details, and #pokadot #tights IMO are hot

Is this Printed Blouse worth it?

I need to know if you think this is hot or not. Pricey, but I like it. I wouldn't wear it with those pants though.
