Poka Dot Tights

I don't care what y'all think, but I love tights with some design details, and #pokadot #tights IMO are hot

Is this Printed Blouse worth it?

I need to know if you think this is hot or not. Pricey, but I like it. I wouldn't wear it with those pants though.

Hottest #iPhonecover IMO

I want to wear this dress and carry this phone. #DVF I love you!

Earbuds are cool, earbuds are hot

These DVF earbuds will make your heart pound. I heart these earbuds. What can I say? They're so simple yet, so amazingly cute and adorable. The white and red contrast is amazing, and who doesn't love the heart shape? I'm getting these in the mail in a few days, hopefully I'll get a picture of what they look like when put in my ears. I can see myself wearing these with my hair up sans earrings. I mean why distract from the coolness of these earbuds with more things dangling from your earlobes? I suppose studs would go with these earbuds, as long as they're small and muted. Anyway, stay tuned for my picture with these earbuds.

Amazing Must Have DVF iPhone Case

Wow, I'm sold. I don't even care how much this iPhone case costs, I'm getting it. Can you imagine taking the phone out of your purse? You'll make all the girls in the restaurant jealous.

Zara and H&M are cook, but I think Esprit has a real shot of coming back

If they would just lower their prices a bit. I love the way they style their models. Yes there's nothing too exciting here, but the color combination is definitely soothing to the eyes, and the blouse beneath the striped sweater definitely adds an added interest to the whole outfit. The velvet skirt goes great with the suede boots, and the leather bag falling in the same brownish tonal range as everything else is a nice touch. It's a good girl outfit I would say. The whole esprit site look very goody goody, and maybe that's why they're loosing it a bit, but cause there's nothing hot about it.

Women Long Jumpers

Can you tell that I have a women jumpers obsession by now? They're simply a lot more fun to wear than say, a dress. Remember the girl from the old Avengers series from way back? She was all about jumpers. I guess they always make me feel like I can majorly kick somebody's ass. It's not for the dainty girls. If you want to full off a jumpsuit, you have to have the pizzazz of an action hero. Tehe ...

Overall

Overall is one of those things that take me back to my high school days. I don't think we used the word jumpers or rompers back in the early 90's. At that time kulats and overalls were in style for the middle school kids, and I made no exception of that in my wardrobe. Of course fast forwarding the clock to 2012. You hardly hear the word overalls being uttered when it comes to women's fashion. Women's overalls are replaces by women's jumpers or women's rompers. But all's well, but an overall is still an overall no matter what you call it. If anything, overalls are hotter than ever. You can see that from the two pictures I've selected above. Not only are they form-fitting and stylish, they're also hot. Not your mom's denim overalls from the 80s for sure. Wearing them with a pair of stylish heels and you're ready to turn some heads.

Cute Rompers

Rompers are awesome, rompers are cute, rompers are just what you need to reduce the cabin fever in this cold cold weather. Turn of your heat in the house and strut around in these awesomely cute rompers for a change. Throw away your sweat pants and let those legs breathes. Let your hair down when wearing the rompers to let the attention fall to your legs. If you must, throw on a pair of tights with boots or booties and a faux fur coat for a night out on the town. Very daring indeed.

Dresses with Pockets

I have a thing for dresses with pockets because they are so unexpected. Pockets are obviously very practical. Every time I wear dresses or skirts with pockets I get that weird sense that I'm doing something mischievous, like I'm breaking all the rules. Don't you just love dresses with pockets? Love it or hate it?

DVF vs Catherine Malandrino?

Who knows the woman's curve better? I think it's definitely DVF. Catherine Malandrino always seems to be trying to hard, and comes off awkward looking, but DVF on the other hand is effortless, and always flatters your silhouette. The black Manlandrino dress for example cuts off at this awkward length. The shape of the skirt is neither here nor there. It's too long to be sexy and too short to be flattering. Nor does it bubble out or taper in enough. It gives me this overall blah feeling, whereas the DVF dress on the right is simple, elegant and perfectly cut to flatter your body. The geometric print is eye pleasing. You simply can not go wrong with this dress.

White dresses are hard to pull off

With white dresses, if you're not careful you can go anywhere from looking matronly to looking like a nurse. So to avoid either of those categories of looks, you should find a fitted dress that flatters your bod, and should end at mid thigh as the one pictured on the left. The flower detail on this dress is an added bonus giving you beyond just a white dress. This is one dress that will make heads turn. Pair it up with some nude heels, and you've got a perfect sunday brunch look that will make all your girlfriends jealous. I love the way this model is being styled with the loose tussled hair. I'd wear this dress just like this. Now if you're not comfortable with going white completely, then you should try a white dress with some prints. This is why I love the dress pictured on the right. It's great for many reasons. This dress's form is forgiving. With the prints making the dress look interesting, you don't need to try hard to accentuate your curves because the dress speaks for itself. It's also in between casual and formal, befitting of birthday parties and high school reunions alike.

Esprit has great skirts

Looking for skirts that are just the right length for the office? I think you should check out the selection at Esprit. Most women's skirts selections from online stores are very limited, and they're usually too short and too tight for my liking. But Esprit it turns out carries a great selection of women's skirts. These two skirts for example are great for a casual work place. They both fun and flirty, and not to mention just the right length. I hate having to worry about showing too much with what I'm wearing. Wearing skirts should make you feel pretty, or cool, not slutty, at least that's not the look I'm trying to go for. Esprit has quite a knack at styling the models with that perfect independent girl look, where you can wear floral and be feminine but still look like you can kick some butt. I'd never think of pairing the skirt with the jacket and in that color combination, but what do you know? it works out so nicely. The scarf with the cargo skirt plus a black tank looks super awesome too. These would be the top looks in my look book for they look smart, fun, and sexy all at the same time. What else can you ask for from wearing skirts?

Jumpsuits are fabulous

Aren't they? I love these two fantastic looking jumpsuits. The flared legs give them that 70's awesome disco era look, but not too much. Retro is cool, and I would wear these jumpsuits any day no matter what anybody says. Pair them with some blings and you'll be the center of attention. Forget the girls in skinny jeans because they've got nothing on you.

I don't get these do you?

Yes Catherine Malandrino is awefully famous yet, I don't quite get these slouchy formless looking things. The dress makes the model look wider than she is because of the rouches (usually rouches make you look slimmer), and the sweater on the right makes the model look like she has no boobs at all. I would be caught dead in these.

Not your plain cardigans

Are these cardigans great? I hate plain looking cardigans and these are anything but. The pop of colors they give is a nice pick me up from my normally black and grey wardrobe. I love the butterfly pin detail on the blue cardigan. I adds quite a nice touch, almost a school-girlish feeling to the ensemble. Gotta love cute cardigans.

Everybody needs a pair of riding boots

High heeled boots are not as hot as they look. If you want look smart and feel great, you must go for a pair of chic riding boots. Who wants to look like a wobbly damsel in distress all the time anyway?

Ugly Rompers

This post in the rompers series is about ugly rompers. Yes there is definite such a thing as ugly rompers. The two rompers pictured here are what I call ugly rompers because they are oh so ... long and formless ... almost makes you wonder if it's a dress, or a bag of some sorts. The one on the left would be great if you were to impersonate Mortitia, and the one on the right is befitting of a ghost princess costume. Sad but true, ugly rompers do exist.

Rompers in Contrast

I love rompers, cute rompers. These two rompers here are very much representative of what I'd wear. The first one is simple and understated, and the latter, graphically appetizing. Although, I suppose it would help to dye my hair red before trying to pull the second romper look off. Not sure if green and turquoise is my best color, but the geometric prints are fantastic regardless. DVF has done it again. She defined the wrap dress, and now I think she's on her way to becoming the romper queen as well. I can't wait till summer, the ultimate romper season of course. This girl is planning to wear rompers seven days a week.

I love this dress

Boden somehow knows what I like. I love all their dresses. I love the prints they carry, so girly but not too much. I feel pretty in their dresses. This one in particular is oh so very lady like, elegant, yet flirty at the same time. Is it time for spring fever yet?
